Restoration. Healing. Hope.
Funded and supported by Children Such As These, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
Sacred Horse Ranch at Hudson's Place is where rescued horses and vulnerable children come together — finding peace, healing, and purpose side by side. Currently in the planning and fundraising stage, this is a growing movement rooted in faith, compassion, and restoration.
We envision a world where every survivor is treated with dignity, respect, compassion, and love. At Sacred Horse Ranch, we will empower children to rise above their trauma and reclaim their futures — helping each child break free from the horrors of their past and step into a future filled with opportunity, purpose, and freedom.
Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and rehabilitative sanctuary for children ages 8 to 17 who have survived sexual exploitation, trafficking, and abuse.
Founded by Jeffrey Pimentel, Sacred Horse Ranch is the realization of a lifelong mission. Having endured his own painful experiences of abuse, Jeff dreamed of creating a place where boys and girls could escape their trauma, find their voice, and reclaim their power. As a former law enforcement officer, he witnessed firsthand the profound impact of experiential learning under the mentorship of dedicated, caring adults.
At Sacred Horse Ranch, healing is not confined to therapy clinics. We believe restoration happens in nature — through movement, adventure, and connection with animals. Our programs incorporate Equine Therapy, where children build trust, confidence, and emotional resilience by working with horses.
Survivors will experience hiking through Wyoming's breathtaking landscapes, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, outdoor survival skills, and relaxing around a fire to “talk story.”
A Child Survivor is a Warrior. Someone who has faced unthinkable horrors and emerged stronger. Their journey is one of courage, transformation, and hope — learning that the guilt and shame they carry are not theirs to bear. At Sacred Horse Ranch, we honor their unbreakable spirit, guiding them as they rise from the darkness and transform their pain into purpose.
Intensive, multi-modal therapeutic interventions designed to address trauma at its core, developed with leading academic and clinical experts.
A family-centered approach to healing with immediate and accessible support — ensuring financial barriers never stand in the way of care.
Gardening, animal care, woodworking, wilderness survival, mentorship, and adventure-based healing — equipping survivors to thrive.
Sacred Horse Ranch will partner with sponsors, donors, and community advocates to provide full financial support. Children and families in need will receive the best possible care, free of charge.
Sentinel Guard detects. Adams Watch routes. The Red Feather Brigade responds. And Sacred Horse Ranch heals. This is the complete Native Brigade ecosystem — from crisis through restoration.
The first of its kind in Wyoming — a specialized, trauma-informed treatment center with a one-year program combining onsite and outpatient care.
Wyoming is the original home to many indigenous tribes, including the Arapaho, Bannock, Cheyenne, Comanche, Crow, Nez Perce, and Shoshone. We honor the Elders, knowledge keepers, and traditionalists who have gone before us and who continue to walk with us today.
